Director of Finance

TeleCom Business Solutions is searching for a detail-oriented Director of Finance to optimize our financial management procedures. You will be contributing to financial planning, preparing financial reports, budgets, and implementing best practices. The successful candidate will also be a participant on our company EOS leadership team.

This position requires you to have experience and to be able to join our team and quickly “hit the ground running.” So, it is expected that the candidate has experience in multiple financial areas, along with supervisory skills.

Director of Finance Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, interpret, and evaluate relevant financial data and optimize controls and procedures to protect company assets.
  • Prepare annual budgets.
  • Preparing organizational financial reports, including projected ROI’s and growth rates to maximize company investment.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Filing of all financial and business records
  • Supervise the review and processing of all time sheets and expense reports for posting into the accounting package.
  • Process payroll and associated tasks.
  • Supervise the processing of accounts payable, as well as other business expenses.
  • Reconcile all financial accounts.
  • Prepare the quarterly accounting back-up for the company accountant.
  • Prepare and pay bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes.
  • Prepare the annual Worker’s Compensation audit.
  • Maintain all employee personnel files.
  • Ensure that everyone follows the company’s financial rules.

Director of Finance Requirements/Skills:

  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial controls, accounting standards, bookkeeping, and clerical skills.
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 salary per year
